After months of traveling around Asia and driving down the East Coast of Australia, I arrived in Sydney with no expectations - just a curiosity for what was next. But it didn’t take long for the city to capture my heart. I ended up staying for seven months, completely drawn in by its energy and beauty.
From the buzzing heart of the city to the laid-back charm of the eastern suburbs, every corner felt like a photo waiting to be taken. I couldn’t help but document it all; the golden light over Bondi, the skyline glittering at night, the rhythm of daily life in the CBD.
The iconic curves of the Sydney Opera House and the strength of the Harbour Bridge were constant reminders of the city’s unique character: grand, graceful, and unforgettable. Once a week, I’d set my alarm for 4am to walk to the beach and watch the sunrise, camera in hand, soaking in the stillness before the city woke up. Sydney has a way of balancing chaos and calm, and through my lens, I found endless inspiration in both.
