


My position as a Content Creator for John Lewis Partnership Hotels required me to frequently update their social media platforms and website, planning photoshoots weekly in order to have up to date content. I would regularly travel to each of the five hotels in order to build up a wide range of visual content, from photos and videos to marketing material. My main duties involved crafting engaging visual and written content that showcased the property's unique atmosphere, amenities, and guest experience.
My role as a Content Creator requires a keen eye for detail, strong storytelling skills, and an understanding of the target audience; from capturing high quality photos and videos of rooms, restaurants, and events, to writing compelling social media posts, blogs, and newsletters, playing a vital role in shaping the hotels online presence. I would edit, schedule, and manage the Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok for the hotels, creating engaging and interactive content complying to current trends.
Collaborating closely with the marketing and hospitality teams, would allow me to ensure the brands voice remained consistent while highlighting what sets the hotel apart from its competitors.
As a Partner and Members only Hotel, exclusive events such as Chocolate and wine Tasting with Waitrose, and John Lewis' Partnership Awards, would be held at the hotels which would require capturing photos and videos throughout the night. For the year I worked in the partnership, I built up quite an abundance of photography and videography for various platforms, as well as generate several leaflets and brochures for distribution.
